Go enjoy some nights of local circle track races and note which shops are doing motor work for the top finishing cars, that should get you headed in the right direction

I built the engine myself.....

The advise that SOLID LT1 gave you is a really good direction to go, you'll find out right away who's good and who to stay away from. Remember.....the cheapest engine builder is not generally the best engine builder. Have some fun with your reasearch...

due north of raleigh ... just inside VA ... Clarksville VA ... see Kevin Blanks Performance. Plenty top-ten CT motors darken his door.

* also ... holman moody is right there in charlotte ... they DO sell their own chevy cams of that I'm certain ... check if they'll build you a motor.

jrubicon, did you ever find a good engine builder in the Charlotte, NC area?

I am an owner of a 1974 Corvette and looking to replace my engine with a 383. I too live in NC.
