Default Holley Avenger MPFI Manifold doesn't match heads

I can't seem to catch a break. I finally got time to tear into my Holley Avenger MPFI install and the ports on the intake aren't anywhere close to matching the ports on the heads. I thought I was told (4 years ago or so) that large "oval" port Canfield Aluminum heads were installed on my motor. Here's a picture:

Canfield #'s stamped on head 24.5 119-0 1102-6158 Are these actually large rectangular ports?
They look rectangular to me. They measure 1 3/4" wide by 2 1/2" tall.

Here's what the Holley intake looks like:

I ordered a large oval port Holley kit thinking that's what I had now I'm stumped. What do you all think? Now what do I do?

Definitely rectangular port heads. Best to swap intake for right one. Or do a LOT of porting!

You should sell the current oval port system that you have to an interested forum member for 1/2 price.

Ok, half price plus 50%. Seriously, I called Holley tech support and they were kind enough to swap out the manifolds for me. Phew, dodged a bullet on this one. Probably a week's setback though.

For future refrence you definatley have the "RECTAGULAR" shaped hi-performance cylinder heads on your motor. That Holley manifold was made for "peanut port" small entry truck cylinder heads, it would be down 50-60HP from the correct manifold, it would even kill power on a stock "Oval" port big block motor.

Yeah, those ports on the intake lloked pretty darn small to me. Hopefully when I get the new rectangular port intake the ports are quite a bit bigger. If not I'll upsize them a bit.

Wondering about hood clearance, I am considering installing one on my 1969 stock L-46. I want to keep the original small block hood. Looking for anyone who has done the conversion. Thanks

I have the Multi Port Holly HP system . Intake is a joke . The 220 AFR intake ports where taller then the entire manifold casting LMAO..

Holly did NOTHING.

The fuel regulator was a JOKE as well. It was designed for the shortest GM valve covers ever made. Again holly did NOTHING. As far as I am concerned I am owed a free day to visit tech support and slap the **** out of those who gave ZERO help.

You got lucky I hope what they send you works out.
