that looks great thanks, it looks like on the pass side there is just a 90* elbow that goes into a hose that goes into the bottom or side of the air cleaner? it doesn't really go into the manifold does it? and the drivers side is the PCV tied into a ported port on the carb where does the other end go? thks bob

just trying to get ideas for how to change things up on my 355....i have regular style aftermarket aluminum valve covers with a couple of "holes", and i am now using a 79 and later dual snorkle airfilter sitting on top of a Qjet. so i am thinking of going back to an original style set up and ditching the push in breather cap. so I am looking for pictures of the setup so i know what i need to get. thks bob

Bob
Factory setup:
Dr. side: PCV valve to carb.
Pass. side: metal tube to short about 1" hose to a small orange filter inside air cleaner.

Hi Bob,
On my 71 q-jet there's only 1 nipple large enough to fit the hose running from the pcv valve. The nipple is actually in the front of the BASE PLATE, not in the body of the carb..
On the right side, in 71, the crankcase breather hose fit's into a pipe in the air-cleaner base.
Regards,
Alan

Hi,
Thanks!
If it doesn't make much horsepower it might as well be pretty.

Mine isn't pretty but all the "stuff" is there (e.g. PCV, EGR, fuel evap canister, and the like).

When they are driven they get dirty. I posted because of the emissions theme. It is NOM but all the pieces are in place.

ok its changed around, i had to use a push in breather cap with no holes and an integral outlet pipe to connect to the aircleaner housing, so i am still looking for the actual metal tubing and hose that goes from the valve cover to the 79 and later dual snorkle air filter if any body has one they dont need let me know. thks bob
