Default Jeep Steering Install

Trial fit a Jeep Grand Cherokee in my 73 today. Part of my LS1 swap.

Drilled the mounting hole oversize to 7/16"

Cut a hole in the inner fender with a Greenlee punch to get the third bolt out.

Based this design off the drawings by BBShark on the VetteMOD forum.

Had to grind the side of this mount to clear the engine frame mount once I tried mounting it.

As far as the steering install, not much. Put the A-body pitman arm on.

Did pull the factory A/C out, removed the interior, and pressure washed under the hood. Next step is to trial fit the LS1 and 4L60E. See what kind of clearance issues I may or may not have. Going to hot wire the engine and fire it up while it is in. Unless the engine knocks or smokes, I will continue with the engine swap.
