To answer a question about going from a C6 to a C3. Well I had many dollars invested in the C6. I drove it a lot first 3 years, it was brand new, and of course a Vette! However I did several mods and didn't want to do more mainly because how much most of them cost. I guess you could say I just drove it and had nothing to work on. I sold the C6 did some upgrades on house and still could buy this car outright. And now I am sure I have something I will have to work on!
Gotcha

Beautiful car

4 row Harrison, same as AT and big block cars. Fill to about an inch below the filler neck.

On your radiator question you will find that in an older cooling system without a closes system with an overflow tank and sealed radiator cap that your radiator tank coolant level will be 1-1.5" below the filler cap opening. Just completely fill the tank and it will "puke out" any excess coolant on the first warm-up, after that, the level should be noted and no further episodes should happen unless, you run into really hot weather or strain the cooling system.

Enjoy your Vette, the rate of depreciation on a C3 has a C6 beat all together. I do enjoy our C6Z's 28MPG on long highway treks and it is a darn quick Vette but, if we had to liquidate, the C6Z will go down the road before any LT-1 in our stable.
