Roll rods and new mains in it with a new oil pump and tell the kid have a great summer.

You guys make it all sound so simple. We have it buttoned up right now and not leaking, but we used a re-sealable Fel-Pro gasket so we could drop it back down to do the bearings. Right now it won't charge and has a draw so I'm helping him chase wires and replace 25 year old burned up wiring.

Here is a pic of a 115,000 mile rear bearing.
Left them alone, installed a 7 qt pan, 10% HV pump, new rear seal and a silicone pan gasket.
Runs great without any noises, plenty of power, uses no oil between changes, but could use some valve seals. 60psi at rpm and 35psi at idle , using Mobil 5w30.
Expect to get another 50,000 miles out of it at least.
