anyone know of site that will allow you to put in a part number and it will tell you of possible cross over numbers and/or cars that part was used on? thanks

Melting Slicks
Don't know about a web site, but the Corvette Parts Interchange Manual 1968-1982 by Paul Herd (Motorbooks) is useful.

The easiest way I've found is to use Google. For instance type in "GM part number 4837868". That's a lens for a courtesy lamp that will cross over to a bunch of cars you would never believe had anything in common with a corvette.

Drifting
The only place I've ever see this type of cross-reference was in the old printed GM Parts Pricing Schedule. Next to each part number it listed which car (division) line(s) used that part.
Not sure if such a doc still exists?
