Default 68 427/390 heater core

The heater core is leaking in my 68 427/390, NO AC. Have any of you had any success replacing the heater core from the engine side on an early C3? I recently did the heater core in my 65 and had to remove the passenger side dash to access it. Not looking forward to this.

Someone on here fairly recently (2 years maybe) did it from the engine compartment side and had pics. I thought he also gave step by step directions. It looked a lot easier than doing it from inside.

I did it years ago on my (then) 1979 but a BB may be different.

Thanks Paul. I had seen that on a search and already printed it. That kind of spurred me on to thinking I could do this. Not hearing from many with early cars that have done it. I'm not sure the 79 is the same as the 68 BB but I'll find out soon.
