hood on 73
just got car done after 2 years off frame, went to put hood on work well twice when i shut it but 3rd time driver side releases pass side won't not sure how to get it back open any helpful ideals

Do not know if this will help but it just happen to me while putting mine on last week (also a 73),
If the cable that goes from the left (Drivers side) side release to the right side is not broken (take a flashlight and CAREFULLY lift the hood to look for it).
Then you can CAREFULLY pull the driver side of the hood up and reach in with your finger and move the release latch forword to unlatch the other side.
If your cable is broken, hopefully another member can help
