I think its hard to beat American Racing Torque Thrust 2s on a C3, here goes, 18x8 4bs 245/45/18 front and 18x9.5 5.5bs 275/40/18 rear/

2000 vette wheels, 18x9.5 rear, with 3 inch adapter, and 17 x 8.5 front, with 2.5 inch adapter.
Could get away with just 2.25 inch adapter in front, and 2.75 in in rear, but wanted to keep my options open on tire sizes.
