Default inches of vacuum

Hello all, I have a 72 LS5, 4 speed, p/s, air and manual brakes. I'm rebuilding the 454 and trying to cautiously decide on the camshaft. Where I'm hung up is the amount of vacuum needed to operate the headlights and wiper door. Does anyone know how many inches of vacuum is required to operate them? Will 7 inches be enough or should I stay closer to the 10-11 range or do I even need more? I want a mean sound from the exhaust at idle so I want to go with the roughest cam I can without substituting driveability. Your shared exprerience is appreciated. Thanks

I don't have a wiper door on mine, but I can confirm that 7" will work the headlights just fine.

I have a '69 drawing 7" of vacuum and no issues with wiper door or headlights. Power brakes work too.
