Hey Guys

My car did not have a Under body center seat belt cable when I bought it and so now after doing a body off and with the body back on I bought a new cable but the cable is too short buy at least 1 - 2 inches in length.

The car is 69 and it appears there are 2 or 3 different cables.

Does anyone know the specific lengths of the cables from one year to the next? I have no issue buying a later model cable I just want to be sure what the lengths are.

Does anyone know the different lengths?

Not sure what source is showing you multiple cables. The only listing I could find at multiple sites is 65 to 69.

Sorry, what I meant was that 65-69 used the same one and then 71-74 appears to use a longer one.

Just curious if anyone knows the length of the 71-74 compared to 65-69 cable?

Hi msn,
The seat belt safety cable on my 71 measures 20" from bolt hole to bolt hole.

I should have measured the 69 one I ordered and returned but it was only about 8-10".
