C3 Wiring diagram AM/FM-8track (FCC Data Model GM 2700)
Hi US corvette community and friends,
in my corvette, 1978 Indy Pace Car L48 at, there is an orig. AM/FM-8track installed. 8-track tape is working properly but AM/FM does not work. I receive in germany only the American Forces Network broadcast station in Frankfurt/Germany. I suppose that the radio needs to be modified / fixed because the car installed antenna works and I receive further AM/FM stations w/ another US radio.
To do further radio investigations, it would be very helpful to get a radio wiring diagram / manual (as a pdf file) w/ the following data I've found on the radio chassis

Service Ref ' 81YFMT1
Part # 7898490
S/N # 1025184

Were you able to get some diagram or manual?
I just pulled my radio fromm a '77 and have the same model GM2700
Service Ref ' 80BFMT1
Part # 7898510
S/N # 1420511
I guess if some documentation is available it will be the same.
If you have any documents, then you could make me really happy if you share it.

unfortunately until know I do not have a electrical diagram for this device.
I hope maybe some vette US friends can advise in the near future. In case I'll get support, I'll keep you updated.

Hi,
I really appreciate your advise.
Due to NCRS techn. book H26 on my doorplate indicates Apr. 26, 1978 so there is a good chance that 77 images can work hopefully.
BTW:
Do you as well have a "soft copy manual " for the FM/AM 8 track device available or where to download ?
