My $0.02 I think the OP is suffering from a combination that needs to be optimized a bit better. As was said initially, the heads are too big for what is stated to be an essentially stock rebuild. Also there seems to be too much timing. I would set it closer to 12 degrees initial and 34 to 36 total and let it come in a little slower. Until the timing is right all the carb adjusting in the world will not fix the problem.
