wiper arm removal-72
I have the zip wiper arm removal tool but there does not seem to be room to operate it due to grill bracket (grill is off). I must be missing something? Wilcox video great but uses later C3-no grill

Hi l,
Are you reaching the wiper transmission by working from along the windshield with the wiper door fully open?
Regards,
Alan

thxs Alan. Yes the door is open, grill off. Should the wiper be in the 'at rest' position or stopped in mid sweep? I can't get the tang of the wiper removal tool under the arm base to release the spring due to interference with the grill attachment brackets. There is a Wilcox clip but shows the arms in off position (but this is on a later vette without a grill)
