Block number identification
Recently purchased a 76 L48 driver. I'm not sure if I have a number matching car or not. Here are the numbers off the right front of the block deck. . . < 16S420775 > and < V0126CKX >. Can anyone disifer these for me and is the VIN needed also?
Thanks guys.

If your VIN is 1Z37L6S420775, you're good.

Hi M,
I believe the 350 Turbo was std with the base engine (L-48) while the 400 Turbo was std with the optional engine (L-82).
Regards,
Alan
