I'm installing an after-market alarm on my corvette and I see in the 81 wiring diagram where the lt blue wires for the 2 door and the 1 hood sensor are indicated, but I didn't see any sensor wiring for the 2 t-tops.

Does anyone know specifically where I can pick up those two wires in the car?

My alarm has individual inputs for different locations and the stock alarm, at the alarm control in the storage bay, already has the 5 sensors connected to one wire, so there is no way to tell, at that point, whether it was the door, hood, or t-top that was triggered.

I saw something that looked promising... "Deterrent Switches Mechanical Locks" - are those for the t-tops? If not... any suggestions?

Also... as long as I'm asking... what physically triggers the door alarms... is it the "door open" silver switch you see in the door jamb when the door is open that presumably also triggers the courtesy lights or is there some other internal (to the door) switch that triggers the alarm?

The alarm inputs on the stock system are all tied together. You will need to seperate out the wires behind the interior trim

The wires for the T-top rear switches runs under the rear roof upper panels in the same harness as the dome lamp.

It comes up behind the area right next to your left shoulder when sitting in the car.
