Fuel starvation ???
When I'm at a traffic light in gear, my 82 Corvette idle fluctuate 200rmps and my fuel gage is moving back and forth. It seems like its not getting a constant flow of fuel. I understand that as I come to a complete stop at a traffic light or stop sign, the fuel in my tank will sloch back and forth creating the needle to move. The TAC is reading between 500 and 700. I replaced the fuel pump, filter and even after that I still have this problem.
Last month I had my engine replaced with a 350/200 horse GM motor. I'm
happy with the new engine, but still have this fuel starvation problem, looking for some suggestions on where I can start to fix this problem
Thankx

When you replaced the fuel pump did you also use a new rubber connecting hose (between the pump and the steel line) and use hose clamps? This rotten hose is a common problem with '82. Won't hold the pressure and sometimes pops off.

if you had fuel starvation you would not be able to drive it.. the motor only needs a very small amount of fuel at idle and would die out as you increased the RPMS.
is it carbureted or fuel-injected?

have you checked map sensor? do you still have the cross-fire intake?have you checked tps .does not sound like a fuel pump.
