Default C3 lower control arm Rebuilt VS Reproduction

Greetings everyone, i need the right lower control arm for my 82 and my choices are rebuilt for $300 or Reproduction for $400. Am i better served with rebuilt since it came of a corvette?

thanks

I would go rebuilt because it's cheaper... what's wrong with the one on your car?

Bad news. You could go rebuilt, but the vendor might want a rebuildable arm as a core.

Suggest you go rebuilt as the reproductions from China have had cracked ball joint issues.

I'd go rebuilt and have the local shop pay for the core charge.
Actually...I would have rebuilt the old arm myself in the first place. a story like this is why I always recommend 'Vette owners do their own work.
