Default Quick tire question

Hi I'm currently running Goodyear 255/65/R15's on the front and Cooper 275/60/R15 on the back, the Coopers are new and the Goodyears on the front are in need of replacement.
The only thing is that 255/65/R15's are impossible to get in the UK, I can get Cooper 255/60/R15's but their diameter is smaller (27" not 28" which both front and rear are at the minute)..

The question is would the 255/60/R15's be ok or would the car be off balance/nose down?

Thanks

It will be 1/2" lower on the front than back, given that my front are quite worn and back nearly new, we're not far from that already. Would a difference of less than 1/2" front to back over a 98" wheel base cause any problems?

Nope.
A 255/65 15 would be a hard size to find anywhere...

Yeah they're impossible to get except for British made Avons which are like £400 each and are designed for old Bentley's .

I'll get some Cooper Cobras 255/60 R15's, they're readily available in the UK and will match the rears. Thanks
