Default 1975 Transmission/Drivetrain Question

Last May, I purchased a 1975 L-48, drove it for a couple of months and decided that I wanted to upgrade the engine and transmission. I realize now that that was a much larger undertaking than I thought it would be. I bought a rebuilt, turn-key, 400hp Chevy 350, and a rebuilt 700r4(I thought about going manual, but I didn't want to learn on a high hp car). I think that I have all of the things that I'll need for the engine, but I need to get working on getting the driveshaft and halfshafts upgraded to handle the high output. What have you done to your 'Vette to satisfy these upgrades?

As far as drive shaft and half shafts are concerned, just replace all the u-joints with solid Spicer joints (no grease fittings).

Are there any particular places that you would suggest to buy those? I've seen Denny's Driveshafts posted in a lot of these threads.

I got mine from Dragvette.com but as long as you get Spicer brand solid joints you should be good. Don't forget the driveshaft units are smaller than the halfshafts. Part numbers are 1350 and 1450 I believe.
