looking for answers.....
Hello recently we purchased a 1977 Corvette, we unfortunately we cannot find the VIN number 
... We have the title, but we cant find a vin# on the vehicle. Other than the left rear of the vehicle, does anyone know another place to find the # to match? We purchased from another state

The vin tag is riveted to the driver's side windshield post a few inches from the bottom.
You can only see it by looking through the glass from the exterior.

Just curious.... Why would you purchase a car which does not display a VIN???? 
[rhetorical question, I guess].
And, if you did, I suggest that you call the seller, tell him/her and obtain a VALID explanation. If they can't supply you with that, tell them you want your money back or you will call the police.
