Default looking for answers.....

Hello recently we purchased a 1977 Corvette, we unfortunately we cannot find the VIN number ... We have the title, but we cant find a vin# on the vehicle. Other than the left rear of the vehicle, does anyone know another place to find the # to match? We purchased from another state
Thanks

The vin on my 80' is on the drivers side A pillar/ windshield frame. The Vin is also stamped on the left side of the rear frame rail near the bumper.

Look down on the dash on the driver's side through the front windshield. It should be right there in the corner, facing up.

Hi db,
WELCOME!!!!! NEW old Corvette and first post! Good Luck!
The vin tag is riveted to the driver's side windshield post a few inches from the bottom.
You can only see it by looking through the glass from the exterior.
Regards,
Alan

Please ignore the arrow... it's pointing at the damming strip that someone else asked about.

Just curious.... Why would you purchase a car which does not display a VIN???? [rhetorical question, I guess].

And, if you did, I suggest that you call the seller, tell him/her and obtain a VALID explanation. If they can't supply you with that, tell them you want your money back or you will call the police.
