Default Sport Mirrors

I had my c3 repainted recently, my side view sport mirrors were removed and painted and re installed. There are 3 metal wires hanging from the mirror, when they are pulled together the swivel tightens up and prevents the mirror from shaking or being loose. Where do these wires get attached to on the door or the door panel?

Those metal wires go into the adjustment lever on the door panel, but they never should have been removed like that. You may have to replace the mirrors to fix them.

Thanks for your response. I've been looking at the door panel and have no clue where or how these wires get attached. Any idea where I can get some sort of picture or diagram? I can't find anything on the internet. Thaks
