The bearing is pressed out of and then back into the hub. I had an old school auto parts store do mine. They found a new old stock GM bearing. This pic. shows the disassembled clutch but you do not have to take it down this far. Find the bearing and have someone with a press and some know how press it for you. Hope this helps. If I can find the part number I will post it. mike...

thanks for the pic and the help! do you know how the bolts come out of the retainer clips? do you have to bend each one of those clips?

The bolt retainers are a little difficult to deal with. I could not find any new ones. I just lifted the long edge that is bent down over the front of the clutch so I could turn the bolts but left the tabs tight against the bolt head. I used a small crescent wrench to turn the retainers with the bolt. I marked the orientation of the clutch outer pulley hub and inner bearing hub. Then maintained the position of each bolt to reassemble it just as it had been. You can see how the bolts and the retainers are together in the pic.. If you do not need to remove these bolts than I would recommend not to do so. mike...

I do not think so. The pulley is not in the way. The back surface of the bearing hub should support the pressing operation. I may be remembering incorrectly however. I have slept since then. mike...
