Default 81' Electrical problems... HELP!!!

When I bought my car a month ago, the radio didn't work. So I bought a new head unit and now I know it wasn't the tape deck that was bad. I have no juice to my ignition wire going into the new head unit. I checked fuses and they all look to be good. Any one have any info on where this wire is routed througout the car? Or even a good wiring diagram would help. The diagrams in my haynes book are absolutley no help what-so-ever. Poor labeling of which wire carries what signal/voltage. Any help would be massively appreciated.

All 1980 schematics are at my site. Assume most of it is usable for 1981.
