Default I would be impressed after-----

having it delivered to my garage where I would put a real suspension under it with heims, etc. and also a real built for performance engine with under the car headers. As it sits now, it is only good for impressing the woman and the valet.

Well I'm not so sure that that car is really considered a Corvette. And since the last Grand Sport Traded in the 6 Million range I wouldn't consider it the most exspensive either.

If that's what corvettes had looked like back then, I doubt that I would have ever bought one.

I agree. It is not a Corvette. It is a styling exercise using Corvette underpinnings. Keep digging in the Corvette history archives and you will find several "styling exercises."

It's a reasonably good looking car, but calling it a Corvette is media hype.

It was a styling exercise to see if that's how GM wanted to style future Corvettes so I'd say its valid to call it a Corvette.
