Lars is very good with QuadraJets... and numerous other aspects of our hobby.

If you'd like to learn how to change the accel pump on your own and examine the passages, there are a number of people on here who'd be willing to help out.

Changing the accelerator pump is not that hard. ( NAPA #2-4055)
The hard part was the choke red (red box) and the choke parts (green box).

Thanks guys...yeah Lars actually emailed me a file to go over. Sounds like he knows his stuff pretty well. The car is pretty drivable right now so I will most likely rip the carb off it once I store it for the winter here soon. Not sure if I want to tackle it on my own yet or not. Depending on what he charges I may just send it to him...

Once i have the Holley installed i'm actually going to send out the Rochester to him to rebuild.
He sent me his rebuild info. Seems very reasonable to me. I will most likely rip it off after I put it away this fall and sent it off to him. As much as it would be satisfying to tackle it myself, I know where that road leads to half the time for me. Hell, I had every allen wrench under the sun and I for the life of me could not find one to fit the locking allen screw to adjust the secondary spring. I went out there thinking this will be 5 minutes zip...zip...
