Car is a 1976. The driver's side headlight has movement from left to right if I when I move it. The passenger side does not. It appears that the drivers side is bouncing as well when driving down the road. I don't so much notice the headlight assembly bouncing, but I can see the beam projected on the road moving.

What is common cause of left and right movement and bouncing up and down after hitting a very small bump in the road? What's the fix?

I have this issue. I'm thinking the springs might be weak on my bulbs. Either way, I'm subscribed....

My 72 was the same way, ended up the plastic bushings were missing, thus causing movement in the light assembly. Suppliers sell a kit for the plastic bushings and sleeves. Mine came for Corvette Central.
