On my last 68 I had the slotted mags like yours polished and they looked amazing. Just an idea

What tires are you running?

I am looking at getting the TT II's in a 18x9.5 but custom ordering a 4.5: BS and going with Nitto 285/40-18s on the rear and 18x8x4"bs on the front. I like the 285 because the of the diameter.

The rear 4.5 BS should fit OK but my main concern is the section or overall width of the rear tire is 11.4" and recommended rim size is 9.5-11.00. My concern is if I mount the tire on the narrower 9.5" rim, with the overall tire width still be 11.4"? If so, where will the widest part of the wheel be? This will determine if the tire will rub on the frame or not. I don't want to use a spacer because it will stick out of the wheel well to much. I really don't know how some folks got away with 5" to 5.25" back spacings.

They do look real good and for 4 that's not bad.

Speaking of slotted mags -- American Racing has them in 17x8 and 17x9 that fit the C3's (needs ~ 0.125" spacers front and rear).

Still waiting for a chance to take better pictures, this is right after installation:

Which ones do you have on and what tire size(s)? I recently found out my 77 was ordered with the alloy wheels, but when I bought it just over a year ago it had the rally wheels. I would like to go this route and retain a similar look to the way the car must have looked from the factory.

Google "ansen sprint VNA69" -- available from quite a few sources.

I went with 17x8 (P245/45R17) in front and 17x9 (P275/40R17) in back. that combination gives the same OD front and rear.

Fronts require 0.100" spacer (used 0.240") to clear the calipers, the rears required 0.200" spacer (used 0.240") to clear the park-brake cable bracket comfortably…

If I had it to do over again, I'd probably go with the 17x8's all around, and 255/45R17's... would fill the wheelwells a little better, 20/20 hindsight and all.

Default 76 with Retro 18x9 255/45ZR18 x 4

I upgraded to the 18" at the same time I upgraded the power steering with the Borgeson unit. It drives and handles great.

I buy most of my stuff through ECKLERS. I was wondering which suspension kit you bought and how do you like it now? I know that I need bushings all around, but while I'm in there........... any feed back is appreciated. Thanks

Take a look at VP&B suspension kits. They have kits from almost stock to track car. Spreader bar, put high on your list. If you got lotsa dough the Vette suspension guro that took runner up at SEMA this year has some real trick suspension parts. T

I like your cobra wheel look. Those where my second choice for my 78. I went with the TeamIII Wheels. What offset did you get with them ?

Any suspension, brake or frame mods to fit the wheels & tires?

I like the 18x8 with 4-4.5" backspacing TT II Anthracites for my C3. Just waiting until I sort out the rest of my car's issues (oil burner) before I upgrade the wheels/tires.

Vette Brakes & Products is in St Pete, FL. I bought my front suspension, poly adjustable rear strut rods, and rebuilt power steering system from them:
