Here is a set of Turbines I put on my daughters 80. These wheels sat outside for years before I bought them. It took us days of sanding and polishing. They were 15 x 8-1/2 With 3-7/8" Backspacing.

Sure it's a C-2, but it basically has C-3 wheel openings
Its getting harder and harder to stay old school, unless you go all drag radials or something like hoosier race tires - neither of which last very long on the street.
Fronts = 15x10 TT's widened to 11" (1" added to inside - 4.75" bs) w/ 275/50's (no longer made, but I have 2 extra)
Rears = 15x10 TT's widened to 12" (2" added to inside - 5.75" bs) w/295/50's
Flares have about 1" less coverage than L88 flares on a C-3, which is one reason I widened the wheels - pull the tire inwards to clear the flares, but keeps the look of the one piece classic Torque Thrusts. Also removes most all of the sidewall flex, so lateral reactions are on par with 17" or 18" low profile tires because lateral movement of the tire on the rim is basically zero.

Cruising
Have to disagree, the tiles are not slippery at all, a painted floor would be a lot more slippery than this. It´s solid granit tile which is used in public areas.
And if you have water heated floor it´s very nice to lay on without blankets etc.

Rear tires are almost exactly same height as original stock 15" tires.
Rear 18 x9 w 255/45/18 w 2" offset trailing arms
Front 17 x 8 w 255/45/17
The factory 15" rally wheels with 225/70/15
Before with factory 15"s
