anybody know what the old L-60-15 tire was converted to metric? they seemed wider than a 275-60 but then they weren't radials either.

Here's a link with tire size conversions. It looks like an L60-15 would be about the size of a 275/60-15.

My Daughter and I went with an "Old School" look with Centerline Auto Drags and Western Turbines. (painted every rivet on the centerlines to match too...what a pain!)

MB Old School front 17X7 4" backspacing 215/55r17 rear 17X8 4.5" backspacing 235/55r17 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 V and W speed rated summer performance tires. I am running 1" spacers on front to bring the tire and wheel out in the wheel well. Not needed just think it looks better and matches the rear better.

I went with 18" Boss 338s and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All Season tires in size 245/45ZR18 all around. There is a chance at extreme speed and at full turn that they could nick up front, but I haven't had any rubbing issues. In the rear they were close to the e-brake bracket, but I went with offset arms ultimately anyway and they're nowhere close now. The drive is tremendously better than the factory wheels and tire size.

I love the look of the wheel, but I will never buy from that company again. I've been trying to get replacement center caps from them since May of last year. It seems I have a version of the wheel with a more unique cap that most vendors don't carry. They couldn't even assist me enough to sell me something. I contacted them off and on through the end of 2014 and they always had warehousing excuses and billing system excuses, etc. Near late November they actually asked for my address and offered to send them for free.....but they didn't

I'll add some pictures once I get the car back to the house from paint.

Awesome wheels, My pick for best in this thread. I've had my eyes on the Centerline Champs for about a year now. Nice job!

when i bought my 78 pace car new, i went down and had true spokes put on that day. in about 2 months of cleaning them i sold them and put torque thrusts on it. i sold the true spokes to another corvette guy and a year later the rust was awful. they take a lot of work , keep them cleaned and waxed. but they do look great.
