Default Brake line locks

Hello All,

I'm thinking of buying and installing some brake line locks for my car (76)
Has anybody done this and what are the pros and cons of doing this?

Thanks, John

Are you racing or interested in doing burn-outs?

I have a hurst roll control installed and it is relatively easy to install and use.

There are no cons -other than the work it takes to install it. The pros are as stated in all the marketing materials.

Just for doing burn outs. New motor being installed now and reworking the front end, figured it would be easier now then later with everything out.

I'm also VERY interested in one but more so for the added security of a parking brake.

Will it work in a parking brake application as well as at the strip?

Gkull I saw a few of your post/threads when searching for this very thing but all your pictures are broken except the one above. Same goes for a few of your other threads I thought looked interesting only to go in and find broken links.

I'm a visual guy so need TONS of pictures and what model people used so I can see how it might look first. Thanks!

The line locks or roll control require electrical power to close the brake line and trap pressure in the caliper. Not a good thing for a parking brake, makes for a battery drain, also not sure if the solenoids are constant rated, may overheat with extended use. They are fun for burnouts though.
