Default muffler q's and part numbers?

I need new exhaust/ mufflers for my 72. It's an original 350 with 4 spd. Currently it has some no name generic mufflers that are starting to rust out and I want to replace them. The body of these measure 14 " and they are configured with an offset inlet and center outlet. What have you guys had success with along the lines of different brands? Any part numbers would be great. After looking at Jegs for a while I am thinking about either the dynomax 17655 or the flowmaster super delta 44 942546. But these are both longer than the current 14 " mufflers that are there. What max length would fit ? I also plan on upgrading to long tube headers as I have the summit brand ones already, just haven't installed yet.

many thanks in advance,

Sully
