What would hook up better?
Which would be the most reasonable wheel/tire combo?
larger/wider wheels such as 17 x 9.5 or my stock 15s w a drag radial?
which do you guys think would hook up better out of the hole?

The 17 inch has a good selection of rubber that you can not get with the 15 inch. MT ET streets hook really well but sway at high speed, MT sportsman pro with there wrinkle walls hook , can be driven in the wet and once again wear rapidly. The Drag radials cost alot here and after a few months on the street they look worn. MT complete with tubes and tax cost $503 and Drag radials go over $700 cdn.

I'd buy 17's and nice tires for daily street driving and use your old 15's for race days. If you have to be street legal with race tires Nitto's seem to be a good choice for drag radials
