Clock display won't turn off
The clock display in my '82 will sometimes always stay on even when the courtesy lights go off. Even if I remove the radio fuse, it's still on. I have to remove the courtesy light fuse to shut it off. What would be the cause?

Internal radio wiring issues. The switch may be defective or stuck. If my memory serves me correctly...if you push on the left ****...it will display the time...this switch function may be the culprit.

I have the same problem. I have read that if the radio was removed the power and ignition switch wires may have been reversed when it was put back in. I haven't been able to check this myself but it could be. If you figure it out please let me know. I will do the same.
