Default '69 front grille parts for '71

Hi guys, i'm getting my pro touring '71 vette sprayed shortly and whilst i'm there i'm going to convert the front end to a '69 which I prefer over the later front.

I'm also modding a deep front spoiler, fitting a race type tow bar and glassing over the side repeater/indicators. Licence plate will be a stick-on affair on the hood.

I have the middle grille and the chrome L shaped parts, I need to order these grilles and braces -

Corvette Grille Parking Light Bracket, Left, 1969 A8292L
$41.99
Corvette Grille Parking Light Bracket, Right, 1969 A8292R
$41.99

Corvette Parking Light Assembly, 1968-1969 A2592 x 2
$87.99
$87.99 $175.98

Corvette Front Grille, Left, 1968-1969 A2177L
$59.99

Corvette Front Grille, Right, 1968-1969 A2177R
$59.99

Corvette Inner Grille Braces, 1969 27033
$49.99

Other than screws, gaskets and things does this look complete? I'm not sure I have the braces to hold the centre grille on?

Many thanks, Aaron.

Hi Aaron,
I believe you'll need the right and left lower bumper guards too in order to finish the true look of the 69 grills. They're slightly different than the 70-72 bumper guards.
They may physically work but the appearance changed. That may or may not matter in your case.

Alan

Hi Alan, thanks for the reply.

I'm going to paint the bumper guards red, also the lower chrome L-shaped trims so hopefully it won't matter if they don't fit 100%. I've mocked it up and it seems to work so we'll see.

The only chrome on the front will be the Bumper.

Hi mate, i'm going to sell them, along with the centre grille. I'm in England though...

You can see the parts i've taken off in the pic. I also have '69 lower chrome and grilles in the pic which will go on the car.

I'd be interested in '69 side fender gills if anyone has them?

Hi Alan,

I appreciate the comments

Sorry for the 3 year gap in replying but you'll be happy to know the car is finished

Lets kill this thread as it's pretty much the same as this one.

Cheers.
