Not sure where this one goes, I installed 461 camel hump heads that did not have accessory holes originally. I did have the front machined to accept the alternator and ac but if there was a threaded hole on the back of the passenger head, I missed that one. I have an old exhaust manifold bolt that has a small threaded post on the top, I could shorten that up and use it to replace the last manifold bolt, am I on the right track? I didn't see that one in the AIM. Seems to either reach the back of the head or the last exhaust manifold bolt. Although the manifold bolts will not go though the end of the strap.

I don't recall a ground strap to the firewall??
Are you looking at this strap?
Goes from that valve cover bolt to a stud in the plastic shield that goes over the distributer.......

You can just make out a wingnut in the left bottom corner of the pic.

Interesting how these cars had a lot more than I have under the hood. The strap I have is connected to the top right bolt of the ac box cover I'll take e a pit true and post it. Maybe I'll just connect it to the valve cover like you have, but I'll post a picture first.

This is where my strap is attached to
