Default brakes sticking

The brakes on my dad's 73 small block coupe appear to be sticking but only when it warms up and it happens more often when in stop and go traffic.

got a chance to take the wheels off today and tried to get the rotors off but they were stuck on pretty good, the rivet heads have been drilled but the shanks of the rivets are still in place and I didn't want to risk tapping them into the e-brake mechanism and then not being able to get the rotor off. we had limited time today. Also found out the previous mechanic did not align the hole in the rotor with the hole in the hub so the rotor needs to come off if the e-brake ever needs adjusting.

initially I suspected the e-brake mechanism was somehow heating up and binding but now I'm thinking it may be a collapsed flexible brake line.

any one got any ideas on this problem.

also I tried to put some weight on the suspension to make it easier to check the rotor runout and bearing end play but the jack stands keep spreading out as the weight transfers. Is there a trick to getting weight on the rear suspension.

Probably deteriorated rubber jumper lines...internally. The insides turns to gunk and will resist the release of the discs. It doesn't take much residual pressure to put the pad up against the rotor. Then, it just continues to build heat.

Very old rubber jumper lines is a serious safety issue.
