Default Dash Board/gauge cluster wiring

I recently dismantled the console and gauge cluster in my 1975 Corvette.
Problem and or Question. Upon putting back the bulb sockets (single grey colored wire feed) into the gauge cluster, I replace five (5) bulbs into the gauge cluster housing But I found one (1) extra bulb socket that I have know idea where it goes.. There are two (2) other bulbs and sockets but they are for the cigarette light and shift indicator.
Can anyone help me to know where this extra bulb socket goes ?..
Thanks. BigClaw

Nope...have the wiper switch plate bulb in place
This lone bulb socket (grey wire) is not amongst the group of wiring that all the other wires are. But this lone wire comes out from behind the dashboard as do the other five (5) that go to the gauge cluster.

My 75 has a bulb that lights up the defrost/vent/heat/ac/etc controls. Could that be you lost bulb? There is a bulb up in the wiper switch as well...

I am not sure if the bulbs are in the tachometer. Word is that there are two bulbs in the tachometer (question??..is there two bulbs in the tachometer ?).
I do not have the dashboard removed... I just removed the center console and the gauge cluster.
It is possible that one of the bulbs fell out of the tachometer when pulling on other wires.
I turned on the interior/dash lights and the lower portion of the tach is somewhat darker than the upper portion.
It is my guess that this lone bulb in question belongs in the tachometer.
Thanks for your help !!

Failed to mention that in my prior post.
It is not the bulb for the Heat/AC or the wiper switch plate. Both of those bulbs are in place.
I think this bulb in question may have fallen out of the tachometer.
Thanks for your help !!

Are you certain the wire color is gray? Do you have the Door Ajar, Headlights, and Seat Belt tell-tales plugged in?

All of those have two wires in the socket....with black plastic housings...and NO steel grippers that secure it to the housings like the dash light bulbs have.

Good thought.... Checked that BUT that was not it...right turn signal is working.
This bulb socket is a single wire grey in color with metal end grippers, know that these leads are for Dashboard illumination.
Long story short...I found where it went... It was a bulb that came of the tachometer. Now back to putting the shift console back together
Thanks for your help.

Default Dashboard Board bulb

Thanks to everyone who gave some guidance on where this bulb socket may have gone.
After many grueling hours, I found where the bulb socket went.
It went in the tachometer. If you were looking at a time clock, it was the bulb that is placed at 5 o'clock position.
Thanks for everyone's help !!!
