Default 1969 Corvette refinishing

We're working on a refinishing a 1969 Corvette 427/400HP that was brought to us a bit ago. This Corvette is not getting a complete restoration, just a refinishing.

This Corvette has been owned by the same family for most of its life. The father and son came to us to get the car back on the road again. It was brought to us not running and in rough shape both exterior and interior. So far we've done the following:
  • Pulled the motor
  • Rebuilt carburetors
  • Cleaned up the intake manifold and resealed the engine
  • Painted the body
  • Paint the engine bay black
  • Rebuilt the front suspension

It's up to the customer how far they would like to take the refinishing of this gorgeous Corvette. We're hoping to refinish the interior in addition.

Please note that the paint still needs to be wet sanded! Which will happen after it's back up and running. I'll follow up with final pictures at that time.

-Shane

Thanks guys. We're excited to get this car wrapped up shortly. Once we're finished, I'll take some shots in our photo studio!

Here's a few updated pictures from this afternoon. The engine is in the process of being installed. We're waiting on some parts to wrap up the engine bay!

Do you do non Corvette restorations also? I have a 1974 Trans AM 455 SD that deserves more quality than I have the skill for or patience to do correctly enough for the rarity of the car. Only 227 made in 4 speed, so not many of them around.

Indiancreek,

Yes, we can absolutely restore your 1974 Trans AM! In fact, we recently restored a Trans AM similar to yours. Let me see if I can find a few photos of the restoration for you. I know I have a few somewhere.

Send me a PM with a good number to reach you at or give us a call @ 610.696.7888 and we'll discuss your restoration further!

Here's a few more updated pics. We're currently working on the glass/windows and weather stripping. Customer is still undecided if they want to tackle the interior. I'll let you guys know if that enters the plans!

As much as I really enjoy looking at and admiring the work your shop does I need to acknowledge how immaculate the work area is. Very impressive!

Thanks everyone. Keeping a clean work place is essential for our business. Too many nice cars and rare/classic parts around that could be damaged or lost! We like to run a tight ship to say the least

Hi c3dk,
Because you're in Denmark you get a break…. BUT,
"Six Pack" is a pure Mopar term.
This system is "Tri-Power", "3 Twos", or maybe even "Trips"
Merry Christmas!
Regards,
Alan
