Hi all!,

you use metal polish found at just about any auto parts store

aluminum foil and water, once the oil and grease is removed.
I wouldn't use metal polish. It has abrasives in it and will scratch the finish.

Mothers mag and wheel polish says specifically, "not recommended for chrome..." on the label.

I just went out to the garage to check the one I brought the other day
That will give me another reason to go back to the shop!!

Keep the foil flat & go lightly in circles. It won't scratch, it just removes all the deposits on the chrome.
Make sure you then seal the chrome with a good product to prevent rust etc.
I did this on my bumpers. It produced an amazing shine.
