Alan- The aim shows it being the same... Revi's slits in the wings were placed there to make room for the hinge for the door storage tray hinge. Everything I'm finding says that is correct and that the tapered off T started in 1971. Just need to find some good pics to back it up.

If I'm correct, the T on the 70 glued to the deck lid hinge tower as shown in the picture below. This is just like the coupe version Revi posted above.

I had my 70 convertible ACC carpet re-sewn to match original pattern if that would help.

I asked later in this post if they think my 70 ACC carpet re-sewn to match original would help.

I did not have my original carpet but a friend at a Corvette shop had an original we used as the template.

You still need to work on your Saddle carpet offerings, the Dark is too dark and the Light is too lite for my 72 Corvette which has MEDIUM SADDLE interior. Hope the problem with the coupe/roadster fittment is also resolved, when I redid my 70 roadster your ACC carpet was too short and I had to pay my upholstery guy doing my top an extra $75 to make up a new rear " T " section for my wife's car.

Nope... I'm sorry to disagree, the dark saddle cutpile is spot on now!

The saddle T in the picture above is 100 percent correct, it was made from a original T out of my own car. The Saddle (4640) color might not look correct due to lighting but it also matches my original Stevens coupe carpet section that is not faded. We have the saddle down pat on the 72 cars.

My T and the rear humps were both sent to acc and now even the humps fit.

The one that I think is a joke... Light saddle.. Anyone ever see a documented light saddle car?

I have not forgotten. Just been too cold to crawl around out in the garage and I tried to take a pic with a cheap flash and it did not turn out.

Ok-Better late then never.

Pictures are of my 70 Convertible rear carpet. The carpet was cut and resewn to match a known original.

The original was not mine since all the original carpet was replaced by a previous owner.
