Depends on which parts you are referring to. Something like the bracket that mounts the pump to the block is different but most of the rest is the same. You can check any vendor site to see if a particular part is listed as SB or BB or both.

I am pretty sure you will have a hard time lining up the pulleys. Only way to tell is try it and see what happens. Make sure you try a belt and see if if its aligned. If you are a little off, you will throw belts at higher rpms.
