my 71 finally complete
Well my 71 corvette is finally put together. Well there are some things to be done and I'm still waiting for some parts from the US to come here to Slovenia but the big work is done.
I wanted to share some photos with you and thank you all for all the help and information that I got from you. This forum was and is A HUGE help.

We do have a V8 club for all the fans of the US cars and there are quite some beautiful cars in the club.

I bought the car in this color and I really can't tell you right now what is the color code on the plate but I will tell you when I get home. We scanned the paint with the scanning tool and send it to the paint factory where they mixed the paint according to scan results and this is what it turned out. Looks beautiful I must say.
Unfortunately previous owner changed the interior from blue to beige because this car was originally blue on blue car and to me that looks even better but unfortunately this is how it is at the moment. Maybe in the future I will change it back.

For the weekend I installed all interior pieces that were freshly covered with fake leather over the original panels so the gap between panels is now very small and interior looks great. Although only the pieces from the seats back and t-tops were reupholstered. I will post some pictures for the weekend when I get home. And it was dirty cheap so...
