Small cap HEI tach feed wire

Small cap HEI tach feed wire
I have changed to a small cap HEI for my 1981.
Reason is because I have a new 383 with Holley EFI and the EFI computer can control the small cap.
Question - looking for the tach filter wire. I am expecting a white wire, but there is none to be found. The old computer harness is completely removed and I checked this before removal to make sure there was no need for it.
The only wires I have on the firewall not yet connected where they belong are a thick pink wire with a white connecter end on the drivers side of the fire wall, and a tan wire with a brown connector end on the passenger side of the fire wall.
Can anyone help me out with this one?

Yes, that was it. Guess I didn't take off everything I needed from the old engine.
But which wire will it connect to?, looks like it would connect to the tan wire?
