Default T.I. Wiring

I have a 1970 LT 1 project. purchase new wiring harnesses. the original wiring harness has a yellow coupled to a tan with red and blue tracers which connect to the positive side of the coil. The T.I. harness has a whit which pink that connects to the positive side of the coil. My question is do I separate the yellow and tan with the tracers, than connect the pink to the yellow. Also there is a white wire in the T.I. harness that shows a connection to the pink ignition switch wire. I have found a T.I. harness ext. that looks like it would accomplish this. Does this sound correct? I have seen the T.I. specialties diagram which seems to support my thinking.
