I have what may be an odd question. How do I get rid of my cars overbite. Is it just a matter of lowering it and adding the font spoiler pieces? Please post pics of your front end. I would love to see what options I have to repair the ONE thing I don't like about this beauty.
It has never been an issue for me either but I've heard others thought so. I think it does look funky when the front sits higher than stock, like when some clown shop puts the wrong springs on one.

Talking about this insane distance from the ground to the front lip. It doesn't sit level with sides of the car. Also the C3s I see including my own, all seem to sit way too far off the ground in general. I figure I wont mess with that until I see how the side pipes look.

I guess that I've had the PC aero package on my '78 for so many years that pre-80 rubber-bumper C3s without any such kit appear somewhat incomplete to my admittedly jaundiced eye. Anyway, if you do add a front dam please follow thru by complimenting it with an appropriately matched rear spoiler. One without the other looks even worse than having neither, not to mention constituting a fundamental aerodynamic FUBAR.

JMHO
Happen to have a link to the front and rear that would work on a 77? I see a lot of different ones and fitment is slightly ambiguious.
Beautiful. Thats how mine will sit when I am done. except its a 76.
I like the look of the front and rear spoiler. I have a luggage rack now. I don't mind how it looks. Is the rear spoiler a matter of buying a new rear fiberglass assembly? Also how is your 76 fastback?

If you like the look of the dam and spoiler on 7t9l82's shark, that's the same package as was designed for the '78 Pace Car and subsequently offered as an option/over-the-counter kit - the latter being how I got mine. The fit may not satisfy the perfectionist, but should be a fairly straight forward install on most any 74-79 body. (A few holes are required.)
FWIW the PC kit isn't merely cosmetic, as it actually reduces drag by ~15%. Don't have downforce numbers, but it absolutely helps counter lift, tho IMOE the front dam could use some additional support for very much in the way of high-speed usage. Note that if you go for an aftermarket PC "style" dam, you'll need to keep or install a proper lower baffle to keep air from escaping beneath rather than being channeled thru the radiator.
As for lowering, only cut about 1/2 as much spring height as it appears you need to drop the nose. Out back, install longer spring bolts and adjust to desired height.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
