Default Body Mount #2 Repair Suggestion.

Looking for good repair suggestions on #2 body mount.

All the other body mounts are ok, except.

Body mounts 2 and 3, left and right are captive nuts that are welded to the top side of the frame. To properly repair that mount you may be faced with lifting the body?

Thanks for the reply twinpack.

The photo's I've posted in the previous post (of the body mounts) is with the body separated from the frame as I knew it was the best way to address the repair.

Any suggestions on a permanent repair by fabricating up material?

I was building my car to autocross so I just took a piece of metal about 6 inches long and the width of that channel, drilled a hole of the proper size in it and bolted it to the bottom of the channel with four self tapping bolts. I don't recall the exact size I used but I'm guessing 5/16 or 3/8. The biggest problem was getting the big hole for the mount in the right place. I wasn't concerned with the appearance so that worked for me. The extra metal made the channel lower there so I just used less shims on that mount.
