Well the 700r4 is all in and all connected except the cooling line. I thought it would be a breez to in stall steel braided lines. I thought wrong.
First I had to remove the cross member to drop the tail a little and install AN 6 fittings and the lines. Jacked it back in place and install the cross member.
Took a look and found the ends of the fittings where the steel braid come out is touching the trans tunnel.
What have others done with the lines?
I will drop it bsck down and have thought I may be able to use 45* ends.
Any thoughts ?

I tweaked the original lines to fit. And yes they are tight in there. Stupid place to put the connections!
Sounds like you have gotten the right answers.
I am just chiming in to see if you are changing the gear along with the tranny switch. I went from a 3:08 to a 3:73 and it really works Very well together. Some prefer a 3:55 and either way you will be Very pleased with the 7004 conversion. Even with the gear change the mileage improved 7 mpg.
