Default First ever 1/4 mile run

427 sbc ( Skip White )

I broke my dana 44 last month doing a hole shot with M/T street radials. I fixed the Dana and put Cooper street tires on her.

From a standing idle of 850 rpm I took off .. Had wheel spin . I hope clip shows up , but I included time slip .. I ran a Z06 with NOS . Squashed him like a bug LMAO . Imagine if I did a hole shot with proper tires .. I could have beat him to end and had a cig waiting on him Bahahahahahaha

I Am ordering a straight axle 4 link set up this winter.

Ridiculously impressive! Radials!!!!

Absolutely awesome. 122mph..thats a 10 second car with traction, but unfortunately, I guess we already know it will also be a broken car with traction. Either way, your 60 ft is insane for a non sticky tire.

Thanks , I was blown away only because I made the pass after all my friends shamed me into it .. I wanted to hold off until I had a good rear and tires.. I can say this , it shut everyone of them up Here are the tires I ran

WOW!!!! Outside of the big tire, its clearly a radial. Super clean unassuming appearance otherwise. Nice work!

Great run! There's definitely more in it.. A little traction with 60' times in the 1.50's and you are in the 10's!! Congrats!!

Thanks you guys ! And it runs perfect as a daily driver I cant say enough about sequential multi-port injection what a difference that makes over a carb or a throttle body set up

VERY NICE!! I couldn't get the video to work but it looks great on the paper. Great job on the "weenie" tires.

Very nice! All you need now is some torque and another 150 lbs or so over the front wheels...

Seriously, very nice!

I want to add this if I may

I used , HP/Weight calculators to come to buying decisions and mixed that with my need to make a daily driver.

I can idle all day in gear , I can cruse in LOCK up for ever on the express way and in town the car drives so normally there is never a time when gear selection or engine power are mismatched . Start her , instantly drop her in drive and go just like my newer GMC .

I drove to that track and drove home , 100 miles round trip and I stopped for ice cream As someone creeping up on 50 I know from experience a car this fast is usually a weekend warrior ..

Wow nice run ! I knew you would like that engine

I ran 121mph but due to spinning tires past half track it was only a 13 sec flat time

How ya been ? 121 mph is still a 10 second car

I was lucky with those tires, on the street it lights them off like I am on ice..

..[/QUOTE]

A 10 second car is one that has a 10 second time slip
